The first schedule of Thalaivar 170 was recently wrapped up in Kerala and the team shifted to Tirunelveli for a quick leg. Now, the makers have moved to Tuticorin for a new schedule.

Rajinikanth addressed the media at Tuticorin today. The legendary actor said, "I came here in 1977 for the shoot of the film 'Bhuvana Oru Kelvikuri'. After 46 years, I am returning to this place now. The people in this area are lovely and I am very happy to meet them. I regret not being able to take a photo with all of them."

When he was asked about the grand release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo', Thalaivar said, "My heartfelt wishes for Leo to be a huge success. I will pray to God for the film's success." Rajinikanth's wishes for Leo is now rocking the internet. Leo is an action biggie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with an ensemble cast. Notably, Superstar Rajinikanth teamed up with Lokesh for 'Thalaivar 171'.
