Days before the release of the latest big blockbuster 'Kabali', Py's new Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi IPS had appealed to Superstar Rajinikanth to be the Brand Ambassador of 'Prosperous Puducherry' mission which aims at making the entire Territory, free of open defecation.

While Rajinikanth or his family is yet to make public about taking up this prestigious offer, there seems to be some sort of off the record developments happening in this regard.

Yesterday, the evergreen Superstar's wife Latha Rajinikanth called on Bedi at the latter's office. The former IPS officer has updated in her Twitter page about meeting Ms.Rajinikanth calling it an "inspirational meeting."

It is quite possible that the purpose of the meeting relates to Governor Bedi's appeal to the 65 year old actor. Latha could have met the highly respected iron lady to formally convey her husband's inclination or inability to take up the role of Puducherry's ambassador, offered by her.. But we have to wait for some more time to know Rajinikanth's decision on the name until it is officially announced.
