Superstar Rajinikanth calls and appreciates Thala Ajith

Superstar Rajinikanth is known for his open-hearted appreciation of any good work in Tamil cinema be it from a big star or a debutante. The legendary hero watched the latest super hit 'Nerkonda Paarvai' and immediately called Thala Ajith on the phone and appreciated him for taking up such a relevant subject and for his extraordinary acting. The two demigods of Tamil cinema share a close bonding though in January their films 'Petta' and 'Viswasam' clashed head on at the box office with the former winning big overseas and the latter in the Tamil Nadu circuit.
'Nerkonda Paarvai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor has Thala Ajith as an aging lawyer who fights bipolar disorder and a case to save three young sexually abused women from a murder rap. The film costars Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tarang, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Adhik Ravichandran, Vidya Balan and Rangaraj Pandey.
