Superstar Rajinikanth created ripples in the political arena when he clearly stated his political ambitions last December 31. Millions of fans and folowers have welcomed this move making it a celebratory occasion. 

Following his political announcement, Rajinikanth visisted the Ramakrishna Math at Mylapore to meet with its head Gauthamanandhaji Maharaj. Even though there hasn't been an official news regarding this from the star, it is said that the visit was for advise on Rajini's political venture.
