‘Thalaivar 165’ status update

Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Dhanush in spite of mixed reviews is making solid business at the Chennai Box office and most collection reports locally and globally suggest that the 100 Crore mark has already been achieved.

Rajini meanwhile has headed for Dehradun to participate in the shooting of his next film ‘Thalaivar 165’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures.  A 40 day first schedule has been charted out and the team will go ahead nonstop in Dehradun and Darjeeling.

The as yet untitled film has Vijay Sethupathi reportedly in a negative role while Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy, Megha Akash, Anjali and Simran are also said to be in the cast.  Anirudh is scoring the music while Thirru handles the camera and more exciting updates will be out as the shooting progresses.
