Superstar Rajinikanth is set to make a grand return with his 170th film, "Vettaiyan," directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film's shooting has been completed, and post-production is now underway. Although it was previously announced that "Vettaiyan" would be released in October, the official date has now been confirmed.

Today, Lyca Productions released a new poster revealing that "Vettaiyan" will hit cinemas on October 10th, coinciding with the Pooja holidays. The poster features Rajinikanth looking sharp in a cop uniform, a detail that has thrilled fans and taken social media by storm. This announcement confirmed that "Vettaiyan" will clash with Suriya’s "Kanguva" at the box office.

The film boasts a star-studded cast, including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rao Ramesh, Rohini, Rakshan, GM Sundar, and others. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography by SR Kathir and editing by Philomin Raja. "Vettaiyan" will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
