Superstar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated cop action drama "Vettaiyan" is set to hit cinemas on October 10th, setting up a major box office clash with Suriya's "Kanguva". After a long period of anticipation, the filmmakers have finally confirmed the release date, much to the excitement of fans.

Adding to the buzz, composer Anirudh Ravichander today revealed the title of the film's first single, "Manasilayo," which is set to drop soon. The song, penned by Super Subu, who previously wrote the lyrics for the iconic track "Hukum" in "Jailer", is expected to be an energetic number. This announcement has quickly gone viral on social media, further fueling excitement for the film.

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, "Vettaiyan" features an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, GM Sundar and others.
