Rajini-Kamal super hit films director passes away

Rajini-Kamal favorite director passes away

Veteran director R. Thiagarajan passes away on Sunday due to old age and his funeral will be held at the Valasaravakkam crematorium today at 10 am. The commercially succesful director is survived by his son Vel Muruga and daughter Shanmugha Vadivu.

R. Thiagarajan was the son-in-law of legendary producer Chinappa Devar of Devar Films and he himself has produced many films in Tamil and Telugu. Thiagarajan is famous for directing many Rajini and Kamal films such as 'Annai Oru Aalayam', 'Ranga', 'Thaai Veedu', 'Ram Lakshmanan' and 'Thaai Illamal Naan Illai' among others.
