Superstar Rajinikanth's new movie 'Jailer' is currently under production and is expected to be wrapped up by the end of the year. The film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is produced on a grand scale by Sun Pictures with Anirudh scoring the music.

We broke the news much earlier to you that Rajini has signed a two film deal with leading production house Lyca Productions. Earlier today the company's chairman Subaskaran, Deputy chairman Premsivasamy and head of production GKM Tamilkumaran met the legendary actor at his residence to make it official.

According to our sources Cibi Chakravarthy of 'Don' fame will be helming 'Thalaivar 170' while Aishwarya Rajinikanth or Desing Periyasamy will be directing 'Thalaivar 171'. Rajini and Subaskaran have earlier collaborated in '2.0' and 'Darbar'. It is said that the pooja for both the projects will be held on Rajini's birthday on November 5th in Chennai.
