Superstar Rajinikanth met his fans from various districts earlier this year and it is in one such meetings that he made a clear signal about his long expected political entry. By asking fans to be patient till the war comes, he hinted that he is ready to take the plunge into politics anytime.

While it was widely speculated that the 'Baasha' actor will launch his new party on December 12, 2017 which was his 67th birthday, no such thing occurred on that day. But now comes a good news for the fans who have been waiting with bated breath for some announcement from the idol.

In the previous round, the Superstar met his fans belonging to 17 districts, including Trichy, Tirunelveli, Ramanathapuram. Sivagangai, Cuddalore, Pondicherry, Karaikkal, Karur, Chidambaram, Perambalur and Dindigal.

Now he has announced that he will be meeting his fans belonging to the remaining districts of TN between 26th to 31st of this month (December 2017). He will meet the fans between 8 am to 3 pm each day and at least 1000 persons are expected to meet him on each day. Police bandobast has been sought.  The meeting will happen at Sri Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam located at Kodambakkam, Chennai. It is expected that Rajinikanth will pass clear signals about his political entry in this round of meetings. 

On the film front. Rajinikanth has completed shooting for '2.0' and 'Kaala'. '2.0' has been scheduled to hit the screens in April 2018.
