After the clear announcement of his political entry on Sunday, Superstar Rajinikanth has been keeping himself quite busy. On Monday he met the chief of Sri Ramakrishna Mutt at Chennai and on Tuesday he had a meet and greet session with press persons in Chennai.

Today, the much loved actor who has decided to contest in the Assembly election without any alliance partners is expected to meet former Chief Minister and DMK leader M.Karunanidhi.  Sources reveal that Rajinikanth and some office-bearers of his fan clubs will meet the nonagenarian politician at the latter's Gopalapuram residence, this evening. The DMK's current Working President M.K.Stalin is also expected to be present during the meeting. 

It must be noted that Rajinikanth supported the DMK alliance in the 1996 assembly elections in which the party won with a thumping majority. Since then Rajini has been in a cordial relationship with its leader M.Karunanidhi though his political leanings have differed over the years. Now for the first time Rajini is going to meet one of long standing and the senior most politicians of TN after publicly announcing his intentions to contest in elections
