Lyca Productions has been busy showering updates on their new biggie 'Thalaivar 170' starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. It has already been reported that the shooting will begin today with a pooja. The first schedule will take place in Trivandrum in Kerala where the team has assembled.

Photos of the pooja of 'Thalaivar 170' at the Trivandrum shooting spot have been released and have gone viral. The lead pair Rajinikanth and Manju Warrier along with director T.J. Gnanavel, VJ Rakshan and the rest of the crew members were present. After shooting for a few days the team will then shift to Nagercoil where a major sequence is planned.

'Thalaivar 170' has music by Anirudh and stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan and Fahadh Faasil. The filming is expected to be completed within four months and a summer release is planned.
