Superstar Rajinikanth's new film with director TJ Gnanavel, tentatively called 'Thalaivar 170', commenced shooting with a muhurat puja ceremony yesterday. The mega biggie with an ensemble star cast is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.

As per the official updates, Thalaivar 170 features Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, VJ Rakshan and others. Indiaglitz has learnt the entire technical crew of the upcoming movie. The crew is the same as 'Jai Bhim' expect the music composer.

The technical team comprises Anirudh Ravichander as the music composer, SR Kathir as the cinematographer, Philomin Raj as the editor, Kathir as the art director, Anbariv duo as the action directors, Pattanam Rasheed as the make-up artist and Aalim Hakim as the hairstylist. Reportedly, Rajinikanth will be seen as an ex-cop in this film.
