While waiting for the release of his upcoming movie Darbar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Superstar Rajinikanth is simultaneously prepping for his next movie, the untitled 'Thalaivar 168,' directed by Siva.

Based on recent reports, rumours have been doing the rounds that actress Khushbu or Meena will be roped in to play the female lead in the movie. Meanwhile, the makers of the film just took to Twitter to announce that actor Soori has come on board Thalaivar 168. According to a report, the movie will go on floors from December 5, 2019.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Thalaivar 168 will have music scored by D.Imman, who will be collaborating with the superstar for the first time ever. Official updates regarding the complete cast and crew of the movie are expected soon.
