Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shooting and dubbing works of his much-awaited rural entertainer 'Annatthe' directed by Siruthai Siva. We had already reported that the action sequences in the film have been completed and only minor portions are left to be shot. There is a lot of hype around Thalaivar's look in Annaatthe as he is said to be playing the character of a village head as well a loving elder brother as the title suggests. The makers are yet to unveil the first look posters of the movie. Now, the latest buzz is that the team is planning to reveal the first look of Thalaivar on the festival of Vinayagar Chathurthi (September 10). We have to wait for an official word in this regard.

Also, some Kollywood sources read that the Superstar and Siva might team up for another project in the future. Reportedly, Rajinikanth also has a film with Lyca Productions in his pipeline. On the other hand, D Imman is composing the soundtrack and the background score of Annatthe. Reportedly, he had recorded the opening song with the late singer SP Balasubrahmanyam.

Amid the other buzzes, the biggest speculation is that Annatthe and Thala Ajith's biggie 'Valimai' are confirmed to clash at the box office on Diwali 2021. While the team of Annatthe officially announced the Diwali release, the Valimai makers are yet to reveal the theatrical release date.
