The entire Chennai city is slowly coming out of deluge thanks to the phenomenal relief work is being undertaken by the staff of various arms of government and local administration, NGOs and scores individual volunteers within the city and those who had flown in from other parts of the country. it has been almost a week since the severe rains and floods struck the city and in the past two-three days, many parts of the city has, started returning to normal life. But the pain has not been completely healed as many parts are still inundated and people are left stranded with nothing left in hand.

But thankfully the josh of relief work does not show any sign of slowing down.

Meanwhile, the much loved Superstar Rajinikanth's 65th birthday falls on December 12 and lakhs and lakhs of his fans are getting ready to celebrate it with the usually frenzy and grandeur.

But they will have to cancel their plans now as the Superstar has benevolently requested his fans to not celebrate his birthday this year and concentrate on relief related works.

That's yet another admirable gesture from the Superstar. Hats off...!!!
