Superstar Rajinikanth has been making headlines often for his public appearances recently. Today, he will grace the centenary ceremony of legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Thalaivar landed in the Telugu state for the same this morning and received a grand welcome.

The 100th year of iconic Telugu actor-politician NTR is all set to happen today (April 28) in Vijayawada. Superstar Rajinikanth flew to the city today and he was welcomed by NTR's son Nandamuri Balakrishna at the airport. The pictures and videos of Thalaivar being welcomed grandly by the Balayya family are being flooded on social media and doing rounds.

The grand event will also be graced by Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N Chandrababu Naidu. The lavish NTR100 event will commence at 04.30 PM today. The arrangements for the event are currently being looked after by Balayya's team. Nandamuri Balakrishna also gifted the superstar an orange shawl at the airport. On the work front, Thalaivar recently completed shooting for his portions in director Nelson's 'Jailer'.
