The controversy that is currently raging in Kollywood is the troll on Superstar Rajinikanth's political entry speech in the final shot of the 'Comali' trailer starring Jayam Ravi, Kajal Agarwal and Yogi Babu. There has been widespread condemnation from Rajini fans and celebrities including Kamal Haasan that it was in poor taste.

Ishari Ganesh and Pradeep Ranganathan the producer and the director of 'Comali' released a video statement in which they have assured that the shot would be removed and replaced with a positive take on the legendary Thalaivar.

We got in touch with a source close to the 'Comali' team who has informed us that Superstar Rajinikanth after watching the trailer congratulated the team for pulling off such a humorous clip. He also did not find the last shot trolling him offensive and told them that cinema and politics are separate entities and he asked them not to remove it.

The 'Comali' makers have still gone ahead and removed the troll clip after being floored by Rajini sportingly enjoying a dig at himself. Well folks thats Thalaivar for you and it is doubtful whether any other big name would have taken it in the same manner and what is more is that he has even promised to watch the film soon.
