Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' creates huge record in America

At the Malarattum Manithaneyam event conducted by Superstar Rajinikanth`s fans in Vellore yesterday, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu let out a big trade secret to the delight of the thousands of fans.

Thanu said that the biggest price paid for a Tamil film in the US has been two and a half crores but Superstar`s Kabali` directed by Pa Ranjith has been sold for a whopping eight and a half crores which is almost three times of the usual figure. Well, that is the Rajini magic isn`t it?
