The 'Kabali' release date is the most awaited information right now. The makers haven't announced. It was being speculated that the Pa.Ranjith directed flick will hit the screens by July 15 till but for the past few days it is being reported in large sections of media that the release has been postponed by a week to July 22.

There is still no official word on even when the Censor certification process would happen. But reliable sources assure that we need not be let down with these delays as the Producer Kalaipuli.S.Thanu will be announcing the release date as well as all the other important details about the film we are waiting with bated breath to know, in a couple of days from now. The most likely release date as of now is July 22 as it being reported.

Sources also reveal that the final copy of the film is ready and the total running time is 2 hours and 32 minutes. This is a relatively short running time for a film of Rajinikanth whose films in the recent years have been around 3 hours or more. Given the current trends of film industry, a running length close to two and a half hours will be optimum and we can be assured that the film will carry all that is expected in a Rajini film.
