Superstar Rajinikanth, one of the legendary names in Indian cinema, never fails to acknowledge promising talents and good movies. Recently, we brought to you that he watched a special screening of Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai Part 1' and heaped praise on the movie and the film team.

This morning, Thalaivar posted on social media that he watched and loved the recent Tamil film, 'Ayothi'. Directed by Manthira Moorthy, the movie had Sasikumar, Preethi Asrani, Pugazh, Yashpal Sharma and others in the lead roles. Rajinikanth heaped praise on his 'Petta' co-star Sasikumar for choosing this script.

Taking to Twitter, the Superstar wrote in Tamil, "Ayothi… A hit film with a great concept after a long time for my friend Sasikumar. R Manthiramoorthy has proved that he is a great director in his first film. My compliments and congratulations to the producer! #Ayothi" (sic). The film is about a North Indian family stranded in Tamil Nadu after losing a family member.

Ayothi is now streaming on ZEE5. The film opened to widespread positive reviews among audiences and critics both in theatres and on streaming platforms. The music was composed by NR Raghunanthan with cinematography by Madhesh Manickam and editing by San Lokesh. With Superstar Rajinikanth's appreciation, it will reach more audiences.
