Rajinikanth expresses his opinion on Jallikattu

The ground swell of support for Jallikattu, the ancient bull-taming sport of Tamil Nadu is getting bigger and bigger everyday. Already many Kollywood celebrities have extended their support to Jallikattu. Seniors like Kamal Haasan. Bharathiraja, Vairamuthu and youngsters like Silambarasan, GV Prakash Kumar and Hiphop Tamizha and RJ Balaji have vehemently argued against the Supreme Court imposed ban on Jallikattu.

Now the biggest star of Kollywood has also joined the pro-Jallikattu bandwagon. Yes, Superstar Rajinikanth has also expressed his opinion in favor of conducting Jallikattu.

The sexagenarian star participated in the film awards function conducted by a popular Tamil weekly magazine. He presented an award to his close friend and professional rival Kamal Haasan.

While addressing the gathering, Rajinikanth said "Bring in whatever rules but Jallikattu must be held to keep uphold our traditions and Tamil culture."

Rajinikanth also received award in the function for his performance in his 2016 blockbuster 'Kabali'.
