Rajini to act in movie written for Vijay?

Superstar Rajinikanth who celebrated his 69th birthday on Thursday is going to be on a month-long shooting schedule in Hyderabad for his upcoming movie 'Thalaivar 168' directed by Siruthai Siva and costarring Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khusbhu, Soori, Prakash Raj and Sathish among others. The strong buzz is that the 'Thalaivar 169' will be produced by Kamal Haasan's Raj Kamal Films International, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and the two living legends may costar in it as well.
There is another report that Rajini has also okayed a script narrated by Gautham Vasudev Menon which could be 'Thalaivar 170'. Unconfirmed sources add that the story that has been approved is actually that of 'Yohan Athiyayam Ondru' which was supposed to be made with Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role but was shelved due to creative differences in 2012.
As of now this is just hearsay and is not concrete but the sources swear that GVM is reviving the project with Rajini. Earlier it was rumored that the class director's upcoming movie 'Joshua - Imaipol Kaakka' was actually a watered-down version of 'Yohan' which he denied in several recent interviews. We have to wait for official confirmation to ascertain whether Rajini is donning a role written for Vijay or its just a mere rumor.
