Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 168' producer, director & story confirmed

Superstar Rajinikanth's last two films '2.0' directed by Shankar and 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj have been record-breaking blockbuster hits. He is presently shooting for 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions which is nearing completion.
It has been reported that Superstar Rajinikanth has signed his next movie 'Thalaivar 168' for Sun Pictures and that Siruthai Siva would be directing. It is further said that the story that Rajini ticked is on the lines of his rural village super hits 'Yejamaan' and 'Padaiappa'. Shooting is planned to begin in a few months time and the release is targetted for Diwali 2020. Official confirmation will come any time now.
