Superstar Rajinikanth`s Kabali` directed by Pa Ranjith is in post-production and the shooting of 2.0` is expected to go on in full swing a few days from now and now there is a buzz around Kollywood as to a new project he is reportedly taking on next.

The recently released Shivalinga` starring Kannada Superstar Shivarajkumar and Vedhika has been declared a super hit in Sandalwood and this film has a strong Kollywood connection as veteran commercial director P. Vasu is the one who has helmed it which has elements of romance, horror and mystery in it much like his earlier films.

Since Rajinikanth`s biggest hit of his career Chandramukhi` was directed by P. Vasu, now it is being reported that talks are on to remake Shivalinga` with the Superstar in the lead role. We`ll have to wait and watch how this shapes up.
