It is more or less confirmed that the Thalaivar will be teaming up with A.R. Murugadoss for his next which is said to be a politically charged subject.

Earlier it was said that Sun Pictures will be producing the Rajini-ARM project planned to begin shooting in January 2019. However the latest buzz doing the rounds in Kollywood is that there is a change in the producers and now it will be Lyca Productions bankrolling the film. An official announcement on this exciting project is expected during the Pongal time after the release of 'Petta'.
