Superstar Rajinikanth's latest movie 'Annaathe' has defied mixed reviews to emerge as a blockbuster hit at the box office according to reports. It is said the the brother-sister sentiment has attracted the family audiences who are satisfied with director Siruthai Siva's dramatic touches.

As usual there is huge expectations from millions of fans as to what would be the next treat from Rajini after 'Annaathe'. The buzz in Kollywood is that Rajini has given his nod to Sun Pictures again and the lucky director to helm him is most likely to be Pandiraj. The subject is once again a rural family drama according to sources.

Pandiraj has already done two family centric films for Sun Pictures which are Sivakarthikeyan's 'Namma Veettu Pillai' and the upcoming 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' starring Suriya and Priyanka Arul Mohan.
