Superstar Rajinikanth is on a long schedule of shooting for 'Annaathe' at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad and will be completing his entire portions soon and return to Chennai while the team will continue for a few more days without him. The film directed by Siruthai Siva is produced by Sun Pictures on a large scale with the ensemble cast of Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu, Meena, Soori, Prakash Raj, Jackie Shroff and Jagapathy Babu.

'Annaathe' will go into postproduction by the end of this month in time for the grand Diwali release this November. Meanwhile, a buzz is heard in Kollywood that Rajini's next 'Thalaivar 169' will be helmed by a one-film old director..

It has been reported that Rajini a few months back okayed a line narrated by Desingh Periyaswamy who helmed the sleeper hit 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' starring Dulquer Salmaan and Ritu Varma in the lead roles. The mass hero has apparently told the young director to get ready with the full script and will take a call on it by the end of May.

If everything goes well then Rajini's next 'Thalaivar 169' is most likely to be directed by Desingh Periyasamy and the official announcement is expected very soon. The talented director recently got married to his 'KKK' actress Niranjana Ahathian and here is some more good news about him. Stay tuned.
