Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films is the major summer attraction releasing on the 27th of April this year.  The film has many things in common with the mass hero's 'Baasha' released in 1995 which is his most iconic films.

Rajini plays a Mumbai don both in 'Baasha' and 'Kaala', and the new poster sees him patting a ferocious dog which was also done for the Suresh Krishna directed film 23 years ago.  Now there is one more commonality between the two movies and that is the name of Rajini which is reported as Kaala Sait in 'Kaala'  In 'Baasha' Rajini was known as Baasha Bhai.  Looks like the most awaited Rajini film will match his best movie every bit and become a trendsetting blockbuster.
