As we all know Superstar Rajinikanth is presently busy acting in his the mega budget sci-fi entertainer '2.0' directed by Shankar. At 65, the actor has just completed another film 'Kabali' which is getting ready to hit the screens soon.

Even amid such busy schedules the down to earth Superstar never misses to allocate time for his loved ones and friends. Last week he attended the post-wedding party of the daughter of his long time friend director K.S.Ravikumar.

Rajinikanth is a voracious reader and he has many friends in literary circles also. One of his close friends among Tamil literary figures is veteran writer Balakumaran who has penned the dialogues for some of his films including the blockbuster 'Baasha'.

Today Balakumaran has updated in his social media page that he met the Superstar Rajinikanth in the latter's residence, this morning and spent some quality time with his friend The writer's wife and driver had accompanied him.

It is worth noting that Balakumaran is currently working on a period script with director Vishnuvardhan and it is reportedly about the Chola Kingdom.
