We updated you that Superstar Rajinikanth met director Shankar earlier this month on the special occasion of the 15th anniversary of his 2007 industry hit 'Sivaji The Boss'. Now, Thalaivar has met with another old movie director today.
Superstar Rajinikanth and veteran director Suresh Krissna met today on the 30th release anniversary of the blockbuster 'Annamalai', which was released in 1992. A picture from their meeting has surfaced over the internet and is currently ruling the social media. Fans are revisiting the timeless classic 'Annamalai' on its release anniversary.
Annamalai is one of the greatest commercial movies ever made in Tamil cinema, which redefined the style of commercial films in Kollywood. It stars Rajinikanth, Khushbu, Sarath Babu, Radha Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi and Manorama. Produced by Kavithalayaa Productions, Thenisai Thendral Deva composed the musical score for Annamalai.
It is worth mentioning that Annamalai is the first film to feature the trademark 'Superstar Rajini' title card composed by Deva. The film revolves around Annamalai, a poor milkman, and Ashok, a wealthy hotelier, who have been friends since childhood, a friendship opposed by Ashok's father who attempts to create a rift between the two.
