TV host Bear Grylls released the first look of his long-awaited episode of 'Into the Wild' with Rajinikanth through a motion poster that features Bear Grylls in a military jacket and Rajinikanth in a baseball cap.

Bear Grylls informed the same through a post on Twitter that read, "Preparing for @Rajinikanth's blockbuster TV debut with an Into The Wild with Bear Grylls motion poster! I have worked with many stars around the world but this one for me was special. Love India. #ThalaivaOnDiscovery." He further added, "@rajinikanth has always been a star with swagger! But in the wild everything is different... It was so fun to spend time with the legend and get to know and see him in a totally new way... #ThalaivaOnDiscovery @DiscoveryIN."

Rajinikanth visited Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve to shoot for the Discovery channel's show in January. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also featured in one of the special episodes of the show last year that was shot in Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand.
