Aishwarya Rajinikanth who has directed two successful films '3' and 'Vai Raja Vai' started her third venture 'Lal Salaam' a few months back. After non stop shooting in various locations across the country she has wrapped up the film in record time. A pic of the entire team along with Superstar Rajinikanth in his Moideen Bhai getup has gone viral.

'Lal Salaam' based on politics in cricket has Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles with Rajinikanth playing a powerful character of a don. Veteran actresses Jeevitha and Nirosha make comebacks after several years while Thambi Ramaiah, Senthil and Thangadurai are in the supporting cast.

Legendary cricketer Kapil Dev is playing an important cameo in 'Lal Salaam' which has music by A.R. Rahman and is produced on a grand scale by Lyca Productions. The film is expected to release on a festive date later this year.

Superstar Rajinikanth will now move on to his next film 'Thalaivar 170' also produced by Lyca and directed by T.J. Gnanavel. It is said that Amitabh Bachchan is likely to play an important character while Anirudh will be scoring the music.
