Aishwarya Rajinikanth is returning as a director in 'Lal Salaam' starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles while Superstar Rajinikanth plays an important role. Produced by Lyca Productions, the film is all set to hit the screens worldwide this Friday. The makers unleashed the trailer with an event last night.

The 2.5-minute trailer opens with a religious riot breaking out in the town. Then, we are introduced to the characters of the film. Vishnu Vishal plays a drunkard, angry, young cricketer from a humble background while their town is threatened by some politicians who cause religious discrimination. After this, Thalaivar sets the screens on fire as Moideen bhai, a big shot.

Vikranth plays a cricketer and is the son of Superstar Rajinikanth in the film. There are a lot of powerful dialogues throughout the trailer and we can expect more of such in the movie. 'Lal Salaam' is a political drama with sports at the centre of it. The trailer presents exactly what to expect from the film. AR Rahman's music seems to be a highlight.
