Aishwarya Rajinikanth is donning the director hat again after a long time in her new film, 'Lal Salaam'. Produced by Lyca Productions, the upcoming project features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles with her father Superstar Rajinikanth in a special cameo role. Earlier this month, it was announced that Lal Salaam is slated to release on Pongal 2024.

The makers have teamed up with the market leader Red Giant Movies for the Tamil Nadu release of Lal Salaam. This movie will be clashing with Sivakarthikeyan's 'Ayalaan' and Sundar C's 'Aranmanai 4'. Lal Salaam is a cricket-based sports drama with Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth as cricketers with Thalaivar playing the big head Moideen Bhai.

The star cast of Lal Salaam comprises Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Superstar Rajinikanth, Nirosha, Jeevitha, Thangadurai, legendary former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev and others. Isai Puyal AR Rahman is composing the musical score for the movie which is releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
