'Kabali' declared a Super hit with its third weekend collections

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kabali' still reins at the top and rules the Chennai Box office despite a slew of new releases this week. In its third weekend at the Chennai BO, the Pa,Ranjith directed Malaysian don flick has collected over Rs.70 lakhs.
This despite a notable decrease in the number of screens and shows to accommodate the new Tamil and other language flicks that released last Friday (August 5).
The film has been retained in 18 theaters across the city and 215 shows were screened in the three days weekend. With a good 85% occupancy the film has collected around Rs.70,15,250 in its third weekend.
With this the total collection of 'Kabali' in Chennai goes over Rs.11 crores. The approximate figure of collections made by the film since its day of release (July 22) until this Sunday (August 7) is Rs.11,06,64,050.
With this the film produced by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu has been declared as a Super hit as it has remained at the top for three weeks.
