Court's decision on 'Kaala' ban case

Superstar Rajinikanth's exciting new movie 'Kaala' is directed by his blockbuster 'Kabali' helmer Pa. Ranjith and produced by son-in-law Dhanush has completed shooting and post production work is on in full swing.

One Rajasekhar had filed a criminal case in the court alleging that the original story and title of the film belongs to him.  After several hearings on both sides the judge has accepted 'Kaala' team's plea that the case should only be conducted under the Copyrights Act.  Rajasekhar has been advised to approach the Chennai High Court for further proceedings.
