Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' set for release on June 7th worldwide has hit a roadblock in Karnataka where the Film Chamber refused to allow its screening due to Rajini's stand on the Cauvery issue favoring Tamil Nadu. Dhanush the producer of the film petitioned the Karnataka HIgh Court which passed on order to the government to provide protection to the theaters screening the film.
The Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy has bowled a googly stating that as the CM he is bound to listen to the High Court and provide protection to theaters screening 'Kaala' but as an individual his feeling is that the film should not be released as it could cause trouble for the people. His stand is similar to his predecessor Siddharamaiah who refused to release the Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu in spite of the Supreme court order.
It is sad that the millions of Rajini fans in the neighboring state still do not have a clear picture whether the much awaited film will hit the screens day after tomorrow or not.
