Rajinikanth's visit to Tuticorin and his subsequent criticism on the people of Tamil Nadu's penchant for protesting to get the government's to notice their cultural, economical and environmental needs has thrown open great contradictions.

In the upcoming film 'Kaala' Rajini plays Karikaalan a people's champion and the dialogue in the film has the Superstar mouthing lines like "The body is our only weopen...let us show the whole world its power...gather all the people"

In the same breath Rajini in his pressmeet today has angrily warned that if Tamil people decide to protest against anything and everything Tamil Nadu will become a graveyard.

Though the dialogue in the film is written for the character, the followers of Rajini do not see him as a seperate from his image and political analysts are of the opinion that his real and reel policies end up confusing his mass following as to what he really means.
