We all know that 'Lal Salaam' is an upcoming sports drama directed by Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya. Lyca Productions bankrolls this movie based on cricket starring Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead roles. Rajinikanth will be playing a cameo role in Lal Salaam while veteran actress Jeevitha Rajashekhar makes her big screen comeback.

The shooting of Lal Salaam commenced earlier this year. Thalaivar joined the new schedule of filming recently in Mumbai. Now, the hot news is that legendary cricketer Kapil Dev is also playing a cameo role in the movie. He was the world cup winning captain of Team India in 1983. Sources say that Kapil Dev filmed for his portions yesterday in Mumbai.

Also, Superstar Rajinikanth and Kapil Dev met each other on the sets today. Kapil Dev took to his Instagram story and posted a picture of himself with the legendary actor and wrote, "An honor and privilege to be with the great man!" (sic). Lal Salaam has music composed by Isai Puyal AR Rahman, cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by Pravin Baaskar.
