It is a well-known fact that Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' shooting is heading strongly in different locations in India. Produced by Sun Pictures, the action biggie is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Rockstar Anirudh. The film is getting closer to the finish line.

According to sources, the Jailer shooting will be wrapped up completely by April 15, 2023. The post-production work will begin soon. Only 15 days of filming are left, of which Rajinikanth will be shooting for about 10 days with the team. The much-awaited movie is expected to hit the screens worldwide in the latter half of this year.

Superstar Rajinikanth will be seen as a retired jailer in the film. The ensemble star cast of Jailer comprises Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Sunil, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Mirna, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Jaffer Sadiq and others. It has Vijay Karthik Kannan as the cinematographer and Nirmal as the editor.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will start shooting for 'Lal Salaam' under his daughter Aishwarya's direction, in which he plays a special cameo role. He will join director TJ Gnanvel post Jailer and Lal Salaam for a new film bankrolled by Lyca Productions. He will play a cop in the upcoming project.
