Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer' is one of the most awaited films from Tamil cinema. Nelson Dilipkumar has directed this upcoming Pan-Indian venture produced by Sun Pictures. Now, the producers have revealed a hot official update that the fans have been eagerly waiting for.

Sun Pictures broke the internet by announcing that the Jailer shooting is completely wrapped up. The official announcement reads, "It's a wrap for #Jailer! Theatre la sandhippom #JailerFromAug10" (sic). The team celebrated a wrap-up party with a huge cake. The makers posted images of the entire cast and crew from the wrap-up party.

As we reported earlier, the shooting was wrapped up with a song shot in grand sets while Superstar Rajinikanth had finished the talkie portions a few months ago. We also broke to you that Thalaivar had started dubbing for his portions already. The movie is coming to cinemas on August 10 colliding with the Independence Day weekend.

The mega multistarrer cast of Jailer comprises Rajini, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, Sunil, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, Ramya Krishnan, Marimuthu and many others. Anirudh is composing the musical score with DOP by Vijay Karthik Kannan and editing by Nirmal.
