The release date of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' is August 10. As the day is getting closer, the makers have now got the film censored. Sources tell us that Jailer has cleared the censor process and the CBFC gave a 'U/A' certificate for this action comedy movie.

Reportedly, the film's runtime is 2 hours 49 minutes (169 minutes). The first half will be 1 hour 19 minutes long and the second half will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. On the other hand, the team has planned a grand audio launch event for Jailer this Friday. Superstar Rajinikanth will visit his fans with his stunning speech after almost three years in this audio launch.

The entire cast and crew including Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Tamannaah, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Ramya Krishnan, Saravanan and others will be in attendance for the audio launch. Anirudh will be performing live in this lavish event while director Nelson and producer Kalanithi Maran make a special speech.

The movie's trailer will be unveiled at this function. Jailer has cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan, editing by Nirmal, art by DRK Kiran and stunts by Stun Shiva. Rajinikanth is expected to play a former jailer in this flick.
