Superstar Rajinikanth is currently shooting for his next film, 'Thalaivar 170', directed by TJ Gnanavel. The actor shot for a schedule in Mumbai last month for this film where he reunited with the Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. Now, Thalaivar has jetted off to Mumbai again but not for shooting this time.

Rajinikanth was papped at the Chennai airport and was asked if he was headed to Mumbai for shooting. He delightfully replied that he was going to watch the first semi-final match of the Cricket World Cup 2023. India and New Zealand are locking horns at 2 pm in the Wankhede Stadium. The video of Superstar Rajinikanth heading for his flight is now going viral.

Notably, BCCI president Jay Shah presented Thalaivar Rajinikanth with a golden ticket to the World Cup tournament earlier. Superstar is one of the few celebrities to hold the prestigious Golden Ticket. India remained unbeaten throughout the league stage and entered the semi-finals stage while New Zealand managed to qualify despite losing their main games.
