Superstar Rajinikanth has had a busy year delivering the blockbuster hit 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and completing the shooting of 'Darbar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions. Sun Pictures has already made the official announcement that 'Thalaivar 168' will be produced by them with Siruthai Siva in the director's chair.

Superstar Rajinikanth has followed the tradition of traveling to the Himalayas after completing a film and before starting the next one. This time too it is no different and he has embarked on a ten-day pilgrimage along with eldest daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush. The father-daughter duo will be traveling to Uttarakhand by flight and will be visiting holy places such as Kedarnath and Badrinath. The Thalaivar will also be visiting the famous Baba cave and meditate there as well.
