Acclaimed director Mari Selvaraj's latest film, 'Vaazhai', has been making waves in the film industry. Based on the director's own childhood experiences, this hard-hitting film has struck a chord with both audiences and critics. Despite being made on a modest budget, the movie has generated huge profits from its theatrical release. Today, Superstar Rajinikanth praised the film, following Chief Minister MK Stalin.
Rajinikanth's letter says: I watched Mari Selvaraj's film 'Vaazhai', and it has been a long time since Tamil cinema has delivered such a wonderful, high-quality film.
Mari Selvaraj has brilliantly taken us back to his youth, making us feel the struggles and hardships faced by the young boy in the story. The climax is especially moving; when the boy is wandering in hunger and the mother cries out that he hasn't eaten, it truly tugs at our hearts.
With this film, Mari Selvaraj has proven himself to be a remarkable director.
My heartfelt appreciation and best wishes to Mari Selvaraj.
With love,
Rajinikanth.
Mari Selvaraj reacted to Thalaivar's letter by writing, I write from the dreams of that little boy who meticulously searched for and collected your photographs in an old tin box with his tiny fingers. Thank you for your blessings and support, our Superstar! â¡ï¸ð¤© @rajinikanth sir â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ #vaazhai (sic). This is now rocking the internet.
