The hospital management issued an official statement confirming that a stent had been placed in a blood vessel near his heart due to swelling. It was a non-surgical procedure, and the actor is reportedly in stable condition.
In an update today, one of the doctors treating Rajinikanth shared with the media, Rajinikanth needs three weeks of rest. After that, he can resume his regular activities. He is currently doing well and is expected to be discharged tomorrow. Although he expressed a desire to return to filming immediately, itâs essential for him to rest for three weeks. Once this period is over, he will be back to his usual self. He also wanted everyone to know that he is doing fine.

According to sources, the production team will continue filming the scenes without Rajinikanth until October 5.
