Superstar Rajinikanth's kindness does not stop with the recent rain and flood affected victims of Chennai but also the sanitary and conservancy staff who are involved in cleaning the city after the flood.
It is said that conservancy staff flown in from other parts of the state to clean Chennai they have to take care of their accommodation. its no news that the staff earn a menial income and it will be extremely difficult for them to find a place to stay in Chennai.
Actor Rajinikanth has done something to address this all important problem. He has given shelter to conservancy workers from 11 districts of Tamil Nadu (Namakkal, Melur, Karur, Hosur, Salem, Rasipuram & Aathur, Thindivanam, Tharmapuri, Mettur & Edapadi, Pallipalayam, Tiruppur) who have been deployed by the State Government, to clean Chennai
The workers were allowed to stay at Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam owned by the Superstar and also the basic necessities like food and water were provided free of cost for them.
