Rajinikanth lends a helping hand to this director for a noble reason

Director Manikandan's portfolio through small is impressive with National Award winning 'Kaaka Muttai' and 'Aandavan Kattalai'. However his third project 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' has been stagnant. 

Considering the sorrowful state of the movie, Superstar Rajiikanth is reported to have got in touch with the director promising to make a guest appearance as well. Word is that the director is working on a solid charcter for the Thalaivar. Not only this might help springboard Rajinikanth's political entry but also a helping hand to a good movie that would have otherwise not seen the big screen. 

It is expected that an official announcement will be made about this shortly.
