Chiyaan Vikram's latest gangster film 'Mahaan', written and directed by Karthik Subburaj, was released on Amazon Prime Video yesterday and is receiving a positive response from the audience and the critics. It is the 60th film of the star and has Dhruv Vikram playing the baddie opposite his father Chiyaan Vikram.
Now, the latest hot news is that Superstar Rajinikanth has watched and heaped praise on Mahaan. Karthik Subburaj took to his Twitter page to share that he is elated as Asia's biggest movie and his idol has loved his movie. The filmmaker wrote, 'Excellent movie ... Superb Performances .... The action thriller follows the life of a school teacher Gandhi Mahaan, who turns into a liquor mafia gangster after being abandoned by his family. It also stars Simran, Bobby Simha, Sananth, Vettai Muthukumar, Deepak Paramesh. Santhosh Narayanan has scored music, Shreyaas Krishna handled the camera while Vivek Harshan has done the editing.
